COVID 19 Update
Dear Sunrise Lakes Phase 3 Residents,
Following the advice by the Centers for Disease Control, the board of directors, along with the association manager has put an emergency plan in place for our community to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Cleaning. PCS, our cleaning vendor has been disinfecting and wiping down all surfaces in the main clubhouse, cabanas and satellites. With the exception of the arts & crafts room (to allow those who need to recharge their laundry cards)-all rooms have been thoroughly cleaned and closed off. Before reopening-they will be cleaned again.
Common areas and amenities. The association has closed all satellites, with the exception of the outdoor pool areas and golf course. All pools within the satellites and cabanas will remain open (with access to the bathrooms) unless instructed otherwise by the CDC.
Meetings and evens. All board meetings and captains’ meetings will resume in September 2020. For those residents who use Atlantic Broadband please turn to channel 590 for any community news or updates.
Social distancing. CDC recommends “social distancing,” which is the recommendation of maintaining a 6-foot distance between other people. It also means limiting nonessential travel, avoiding public transportation when possible, working form home, and skipping social gatherings.
Staffing. The management office will be open from 9:00 am-4:30 pm Monday through Thursday-temporarily closed on Fridays. Please do not come to the office for decals, or community I.D.’s. These items will be issued at a later date-please call or e-mail our office with any concerns. Our after hours on call person will be available for issues that may arise when our office is closed.
Security. Security will remain business as usual-we will have the rover 24/7 and the security desk will be maned from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm seven days a week. See something/Say something 954-742-3506
IF YOU GET SICK
Medical authorities are strongly urging all persons who exhibit symptoms to stay home and avoid public spaces unless you need medical care. You also should separate yourself from other people and pets in your home.
If appropriate, the association may notify residents that an individual in the community has contracted the virus.
This association did not take these decisions lightly. These actions are being taken to ensure the health and welfare of the residents of this community. We pledge to keep residents informed of all relevant developments and how they affect association operations.
It is also incumbent upon residents to take this situation seriously and do their part to minimize the spread of this deadly disease. The association highly encourages you to review safety guidelines and look for updates from; the CDC, the local health department, and the World Health Organization.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Stay safe and healthy.
